Seasonal Prep

Yeah, cause it is "that" special time of the year. Brace yourselves...the Xian songs and insistence on "merry Christmas you damned heathen" is coming.

My favorite radio station is already playing Christmas music nonstop.

But there's been some much-needed comic relief going around on Facebook along the lines of "one holiday at a time!", such as the cartoon with the turkey telling Santa to get his ass back in the sleigh and one photo a friend of mine posted of a notice put up by Nordstrom's informing customers that they weren't going to be "decking" their halls until November 27 because they like the idea of celebrating only one holiday at a time.

The places around here had their Xmas stuff out back in September. It's been annoying as fuck. Meanwhile you pretty much have to go to 3 or 4 different places to get any Pesach or Chanukkah stuff which the stores put out on a single end-aisle display about a week before the festival takes place.

Someone wanna tell me again how businesses here aren't religiously biased?

I sometimes really enjoy the confused looks on some people's faces when I wish them a happy Solstice.
